Childhood Saved! Toys Are Coming BACK To Kellogg’s Cereals
Kellogg’s is correcting one of their biggest mistakes ever and bringing toys back to their range of cereals.
The company stopped including toys and other collectibles in their cereal boxes back in 2009, but they’ve decided to bring back the fun.
“It’s been eight years since we’ve had collectibles in a pack, and we regularly receive feedback and requests from consumers: ‘Can you put toys back into the cereal box’? When we did some research recently, 81 percent of mums we spoke to thought it was a good idea for Kellogg’s to do these types of promotions,” Larissa Oliver, Shopper Activation Manager at Kellogg’s Australia told Kidspot.
“We listened to mums who loved the idea of collectibles, because we wanted to bring back the excitement of discovering them - like many of us (including me) enjoyed while growing up.”
The first toy on offer is a Nickelodeon straw spoon. It will be available in specially marked boxes of Coco Pops, Sultana Bran, Rice Bubbles, Crunchy Nut and Just Right.
