Whale Calf Spotted Helping Push Its Mother To Safety Near North Stradbroke Island
A stranded humpback whale has freed itself from a sandbank on North Stradbroke Island after its calf was spotted trying to push its mother to safety.
The footage shows the calf repeatedly nudging the humpback after it became trapped this morning after 7:30 am.
Both the calf and its mother were able to swim off the bank at 8:10am where they moved into deeper water. Go you good things!
